Can we change the title to the "incredibly average Spider-Man" for this film? No... I'm being slightly harsh here. I was excpecting to like it so much more than I actually did, because I love the first one so much. I had to agree with my dad's usual "half an hour to long" moan. I found the many Peter, Gwen scenes to be unnecessary in number although they are probably needed in light of what happens later.
The character of Rhino was irritating and the only thing that made him worth watching was the suit at the end. As for Electro, I feel he was too whiny and wasn't hard-hitting enough as a villain. If they had just kept Dane DeHann as the only villain then that would have made the film a lot better than it was.
I felt DeHann and Garfield were the best actors in the film and I loved the new look of "The Green Goblin."
Did I like this movie.... Yes. Did I love this movie... Not even close. It was one superhero movie I would watch if I was bored, but it would not be one I would beg to put on if I was asked to choose a movie to watch on film night. I generally feel bad putting this down, but I can only hope the thrid and fgourth movie relight the fire and send it soaring back to the standards of the the first film.
A brilliant movie that has to be watched and rewatched to pick up on small details that are easy to miss first time you watch. This movie is about four solo magicians banded together to become one of the best bands of criminals and their battle against the F.B.I. In simple terms, four stage magicians try to defeat the people who are supposed to help protect the world. Each of the "Four Horsemen" have a brillaint trick to play in the film and you will not finish the film without feeling amazed by the very unexspected twist that was so outside the box it was practically in a diffrent film. The acting is amazing with standout performances from Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher and Morgan Freeman, but their is honestly not a bad actor or actress in this film. My favorite characters are: Jack Wilder, the youngest up-and coming magaician trying to stand out in the world of magic and Henley Reeves, the escape artist with some great lines and a sassy trick with piranhas.
Overall this movie is amazing and would recomend it very much.
In a flashback years before the Metropolis disaster, Oliver Queen, Dinah Lance and (reluctant) Hal Jordan go for a drink after their victory against a "plant-core eating zombie moon" and although Hal just wants to go home and do laundry as he hasn't been home in a week, he joins them in Buffalo's Bar. Dinah tells him he does a very good "boring old man impression" for a man of his age.
Hal states he doesn't like acting like a third wheel, which Dinah counters by telling him he wouldn't if any relationship he had would last more than a week. When Hal sulkily tries to change the subject by saying he saved the world, she just shoves a bowl of peanuts under his nose and telling him to take one. When he tries to tell her she wouldn't be sitting there is it wasn't for him, she carries on asking him if the Guardians of the Universe knew "the word commitment had you shrieking like a little girl." A biker comes up and tries to flirt with, stating he wanted to buy her drink, while the rest of his gang stand behind him. Ollie scoffs into his beer, which irritates the biker and makes him grab Ollie by his jacket. He tries to intimidate him, asking if he said anything behind his "stupid little beard." Dinah gives him one warning to let go and walk away as she is the only one who can "touch him inappropiatly." The biker scoffs, asking him if he needs her to fight his battles. Oliver replies he doesn't need to, but he likes it when he does, enjoying the barroom brawl that Dinah starts by chucking the biker into his friends. Oliver only intervenes by flicking a peanut into the face of the biker, who was about to whack Dinah with a chair. Dinah smiles, telling Oliver he didn't need to as he had him and when Oliver replies that he "only lifted a finger" she repeats saying she "will always fight for you." When Hal coments again about being a third wheel, Dinah jokes that he can play with his beard, which she had been doing at the time. Oliver calls for a toast and they give cheers to "Hal Jordan, saviour of the world and the finest third wheel a man and his girl could have." In the present Dinah and the members of both the Justice League and the Insurgency (all except Superman and Batman) have attended in their civillian identities to pay their respects to Green Arrow. They all leave in silence, except for Dinah and Hal, who tries to talk to her but she refuses while he still follows Superman's new world order. Hal leaves upset, leaving her alone. Superman arrives and tries to talk to Dinah, saying he never meant to kill Oliver. When she doesn't answer he touches her shoulder asking her to speak. She angrily asks him if she wants to say something, uttering a loud canary cry that causes his ears to bleed. In fury he grabs Dinah's mouth, but she looks at him defiantly telling him to show her what Oliver saw before his death and that she fooled him like he did everyone else in being a human and a hero. She tells him that humans are not as fragile as he sees and will tear down his tyrony and Regime, but he tells her to watch her words. Dinah tells him to look at her, look closely and as he scans her he is shocked to discovered she is pregnant. Dinah tells him she is fighting for two now. Superman flies off and Dinah contacts a third party, Oracle, asking her if the recording contact lens caught everything. Oracle complements her saying they did.

Caitlin Snow was a S.T.A.R. Labs bio-engineer who was working there on the night of the Particle Accelerator disaster. ARROW: Caitlin and Cisco Ramon are doing an inventory of S.T.A.R. Labs technology at a S.T.A.R. Labs Warehouse in Starling City. She is working at the computer and criticises Cisco on how people don't use the word bomb in a cool sense of the word after he wanted to rechristen the warehouse "The Bomb." They begin to discuss the accident. When Cisco tells her was an accident, she says that he should "try telling that to the families of the people that died." However he tells her that she should "figure out how to tell it to herself." She just gives him a look and tells him that they need to just get the work done. When they go to investigate who entered the warehouse, they are shocked to watch a security guard fall in front of them having been stabbed in the back by Deathstroke. They make a run for it with Deathstroke in close pursuit, telling them "the longer the chase, the slower the death." She asks Cisco to help her, going into a closed off pen where personal equipment to Dr. Arthur Light had been stored. Deathstroke arrives and pulls a sword on them. After they use a weapon to incapacitate Deathstroke, Caitlin opens the gate on the other side of the pen and the two escape. Later Felicity arrives to check if they are both alright, having met them before on one of her journeys to Central to see Barry in his coma and him being moved to S.T.A.R. Labs after his condition deteriorated. She questions Felicicty after she refers to their attacker as "he" twice, asking if she knew who it was, but Felicity is quick to deny. She seems perplexed by her response. When John Diggle asks what was taken and if it was an industrial centrifuge, Caitlin tells them it's a secret and answers for Cisco that it is a secret too when he is asked. Felicity tells them she is happy to see they are alright, asking how Barry is doing, but Caitlin says he is doing the same as he was. She tells them that she will visit soon. Later Felicity goes to a lab where both Caitlin and Cisco are working and tells them that she needs their help with something and saying that it will be "our" little secret, handing her a vial of Mirakuru for her to study and try to create a cure for. After Arrow had defeated Cyrus Gold and saved Roy Harper from Brother Blood, Barry is said to have rushed back to Central so he could be in time to witness the unveiling.
THE FLASH:
However on the night the accelerator was activated, something happened causing a freak storm that struck Barry Allen, causing the accident that made him into the Flash. The Acceleartor released theoretical energies such as anti-matter and dark energy which somehow caused humans to gain meta-human abilities.
I found this to be one of the best tv series of this decade, in both the acting and the writting. I love the map work, story and way the crime scenes are examined. This show based on the works of Sir Arthur Connan Doyle is a modern day twist on the consulting detectives battle against crime, whilst he must fight his nemesis in the shadows. Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat do an excellent job of updating the classic novels, whilst still keeping true to the books. I have to admit that before I saw Sherlock, Robert Downy Jr. was my Holmes and thought it would be impossible to better, but I was wrong. Benedict Cumberbatch's icy portrail of the "Great Detective in the funny hat" was most engaging and funny with his lack of understaning human emotion. But it is Andrew Scott and Lara Pulver, who in my opinion made the show brilliant for me. Moriarty, played by Scott was a flamboyant, nasty man with some of the best killer line. While Irene Adler had a powerful and emotional story with lighter notes, giving her a more rounded personality than Rachel Mcadams (though I still do like her portrail.)
If you haven't watched this show you should as it is tv gold and a brilliant Brittish classic tv series.
Injustice Gods Among Us Year 2 #6 Renee Montoya was with Commissioner Jim Gordon and Harvey Bullock when the Regime Soldiers marched into Gotham. She asks Gordon if they are really just going to stand by and let the soldiers take over, but is told "not now." However she persists, asking him if he has a plan. In #11, Montoya and Gordon go to visit Bullock in the hospital after he was beaten by a soldier. Motoya is shocked when Gordon tells Bullock to get up and tries to argue that he won't be able to walk, but Bullock demonstrates he can. The three leave the hospital, while Gordon tells them they are going to police the city.
In #12, Montoya stands along side Gordon, Bullock and the Birds of Prey, listening to him as he tries to rally the former policemen to join the Insurgency. Montoya is quick to tell a female cop to loose her attitude after she gets angry at the suggestion to leave the force. She watches in silence as Bullock shoots Gordon in the head, demonstrating the power of the pill. In #14, Montoya and Bullock are part of the Birds of Prey's plan to capture two Regime Soldiers. They start running when they hear a scream in the distance and Canary tells them both not to show any signs that would reveal they have increased strength until their communications had been taken out, so that Superman would not figure out the Insurgency had stolen his tech. A regime soldier has a teenage boy hanging upside down and has broken his leg. Montoya shoots his helmet and watches the bullet bounce off, telling him to let go. He reminds her that bullets can't hurt him, dropping the teenager, but she just shoots out his helmet's eye lens. She smiles saying "Bullets may not hurt you, but shooting you in the face still feels pretty damn good." She has to hold Bullock back when one of the soldiers removes their helmet to reveal he was the one that put Bullock in the hospital. Montoya joins Bullock after he smashes the two soldiers through a wall into an abandoned warehouse. She challenges them to fight stating they could have a fair fight, but that it was "long past fair." She fights with Batwoman, and Bullock to take out one of the soldiers. She comments "Worst... supersoldiers... ever" as she watches the other soldier flee. After Gordon has subdued the soldier he orders her, Black Canry and Bullock to arrest him. In #16 Montoya is holding hands with Batwoman as they listen to Batman's pre-war speech telling everyone to say good-bye to husbands, wives, children and family. Batwoman begins to speak, but Renee interrupts, telling her she'll see her out in the field. In #17 Montoya, stands with Bullock and other members of the G.C.P.D, watching the sky turn green with Mogo's power blast. In #18 Montoya is among the Resistance members as they prepare for Harley Quinn's distraction. After Gordon gives the signal she charges along with the Insurgency, kicking a soldier in the face and stormed the Hall of Justice. Montoya witnesses the conversation Luthor has with Gordon, however does not hear it. In #22 Montoya helps Bullock carry Cyborg out of the Hall of Justice ruins. Renee Motoya first appears in Injustice Gods Among Us Year 2 #6. In issue #16 it is revealed that she is married to Kate Kane, aka Batwoman.
