SCENE 1: THE MULITVERSE

THE MULITVERSE IS A LARGE NUMBER OF PLANETS THAT FORM A SPIRAL CIRCILING AWAY FROM A SUN, AMONG THE PLANETS IS EARTH 2 AND APOKOLIPS.

ALAN SCOTT: (V.O)
We of this Earth are so small and powerless... yet every decision we make spawns a new world. And one terrible mistake can create a future that we must endure for the rest of our lives... I wish I'd realized this before I was Earth's Green Lantern. Back when I was just Alan Scott, before I forgot to listen to the people who cared about me most.

SCENE 2: EARTH 2 (FLASHBACK) GOTHAM CITY- ALAN SCOTT'S APARTMENT

IN GOTHAM CITY, ALAN AND SAM ARE IN SCOTT'S APARTMENT. SAM IS SITTING ON THE SOFA WITH AN OPEN LAPTOP ON THE COFEE TABLE. THEY ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A SERIOUS DISCUSION.

ALAN SCOTT:
I appreciate your concern, Sam, but this “Boom Tube” technology, as he calls it... it's fascinating. Imagine, Global Broadcasting Company could be broadcasting beyond our world.

SAM STANDS UP, PUTTING HIS HAND ON HIS SHOULDER.

SAM ZHAO:
You can't trust this guy, Alan. Dr. Sloan is using G.B.C as a front. I'm telling you... The Jaunt Initiative is too damned dangerous.

ALAN TAKES SAM'S HAND, WHO LOOKS DOWN AT THE FLOOR AS ALAN POINTS TO THE SKYLINE.

ALAN SCOTT:
You're the angel on my shoulder, Sam, and I love you for it. But look around... The world is doing fine, and I can make it even better.

Very impressive. You could prove useful, Mr. Holt. I believe I'll have to add you to my collection...

SCENE 5: GOTHAM CITY- ALAN SCOTT'S PENTHOUSE

SAM IS SITTING SHIRTLESS ON THE BED. ALAN IS PUTTING ON HIT WORK SUIT, USING THE MIRROR TO PUT ON HIS TIE.

ALAN SCOTT: (V.O)
I trusted myself above all others... Even Sam.

SAM ZHAO:
Don't do this, Alan.

ALAN SCOTT:
Dr. Sloan believes we can make physical contact with other dimensions! This will put my name in the history books, Sam.

SAM ZHAO:
Then why are you keeping it a secret?

ALAN SCOTT:
The history books aren't ready just yet.

SAM ZHAO:
And you trust yourself to make that call? For all of humankind? I'm not asking you to stop the research. Just make it public...

ALAN SCOTT:
Enough, Sam I can do this alone. I'm Alan Scott, remember?

SAM BENDS OVER THE LAPTOP AND BEGINNING TO TYPE.

SAM ZHAO:
How could I forget? This is for your own good, Alan. I just hope I'm not too late.

SAM HAS AN EMAIL OPEN WITH THE MESSAGE “PLEASE SHARE THIS INFORMATION AS YOU SEE FIT...”

SCENE 6- THE 9TH DIMENSION

STEPPENWOLF AND FURY ARE WATCHING THE ADVANCE.

STEPPENWOLF:
By giving us entry to this world, the traveler has saved his own, my daughter.

FURY:
We will feed this doomed world to Apokolips... For Darkseid.

GRUNDY IS WALKING HIGH ABOVE THE ARMY ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE, WALKING WITH THEM.

FURY: (CON'T)
Even the Avatars of this weak planet were easily seduced.

THEY LOOK DOWN AT THE ARMY. AMONGST THEM, BARDA AND MR. MIRACLE ARE BEING FORCED TO WALK. THERE HANDS ARE TIED BEHIND THEIR BACK. MIRACLE IS IN FRONT, HIS HEAD BOWED. BARDA HAS HER HEAD HELD PROUDLY.

FURY: Why are there traitors amongst us?

STEPPENWOLF:
The traveler is shrewd, but his mind will not be enough, Fury. We may soon have a need for Mister Miracle's improbable mental gifts.

FURY:
And my disgraced mentor? Shall I give her a quick death?

STEPPENWOLF:
Barda's skills have more... direct applications. A powerful Amazon inhabits this world, and she will not be easily vanquished.

FURY:
You speak of my mother. Wonder Woman.

STEPPENWOLF SMILES.

STEPPENWOLF:
Diana is your mother in name only, Fury. Remember that you are first a soldier of Apokolips. And you will always be your father's daughter.

Very naughty, Dr. Sloan. Accountable is going to have to hold you... Wait, why am I talking to myself?

OUTSIDE THE PLANE HAS LOWERED TO ROOF HIGHT.

BATMAN: (O.S)
Signal locked. Accountable is head of the syndicate, so expect heavy resistance. Stay focused.

ROBIN: (O.S)
I'm not even old enough for a learner's permit, remember? This is me focused.

INSIDE JAMES GETS SCARED AT THE SIGHT OF A PARADEMON, WHOSE PICTURE HAS FORMED IN THE SWIRLING ENERGY ORB.

ACCOUNTABLE:
What's that thing!?

BATMAN AND ROBIN KICK DOWN THE DOOR AND JAMES WHIPS HIS HEAD AROUND TO FACE THEM.

BATMAN:
James Olsen! You're wanted for treason!

ACCOUNTABLE:
Wait, Bruce, people have to see this! Terry Sloan is bringing something... transmitting..

BATMAN USES A GAS GUN TO KNOCK ACCOUNTABLE OUT.

BATMAN:
Bruce”? This kid knows way too much.

SCENE 8: METROPOLIS- INSIDE DAILY PLANET BUILDING

THE STREETS ARE BUSY AROUND THE DAILY PLANET BUILDING.

ALAN SCOTT: (V.O)
And so the Apokolips War began...

LOIS LANE IS LEANING ON PERRY WHITE'S DESK, WHO IS LOOKING AT A LAPTOP. HE IS VIEWING SOMETHING THAT ACCOUNATBLE HAS SENT.

PERRY WHITE:
I don't know why those rotten Accountable hackers love you,, Lois, but by the boots of Mercury... I'm glad they do!

LOIS LANE:
The scoop was cut off mid- transmission, Perry. I've got a bad feeling...

HER PHONE RINGS AND SHE PICKS UP, READING THE NUMBER TO BE SAM LANE.

LOIS LANE:
Dad?

SAM LANE: (O.S)
Lois, honey, you've got to get out of the city. Now.

PERRY AND LOIS LOOK OUT THE WINDOW AS A LARGE BOOM TUBE FORMS OVER METROPOLIS, UNLEASHING A HORDE OF PARADEMONS.

What is that...?!

ALAN SCOTT: (V.O)
An army of Parademons... the demonic foot soldiers of Apokolips... Boiled out of Boom Tube portals, striking our largest cities.

This is the first 8 pages of the story- Full transcript will be added soon.

Pride (2014 Film Review)

This movie is just brilliant and a must see.

Based on true events, this film tells the story about the group L.G.S.M (Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners) and how they raised money and worked alongside the miners during the miner's strike in 1984 under the rule of Maggie Thatcher.

The cast as a collective are just wonderful and are so flawless that it is very hard to pick out a stand out performance, but if I had to I would say that it was Imelda Staunton, who steals many of the scenes she is in. But like I said before everyone is knockout, making you want to laugh, whilst showing the grit of the time.

While Billy Elliot and Brassed Off (who also deal with the Miner's Strike) show how bad the times were more vividly, this film focuses more on solidarity and friendship.

A fantastic film with mammoth heart and a stellar cast, you can't leave this film not feeling joyful.... Overall it is spectacular.

Val gets up stating he won't let Superman stop his freinds from saving the world. As Superman mulls this over, he realises that Batman's allies are going to the Boom Tube and speeds off to stop them.

He is stopped by Red Tornado, who he demands to get out of his way, but she questions if he will kill her like he killed Jonathan Kent. He begs he wouldn't, but she tells him that if he is who he said he is then he should let them save the world. He asks if he really thinks it's that simple, which she replies that he hopes he does but a part of her is just stalling. Val arrives and knocks him down, holding on to stop him from escaping as they crash towards the ground.

Superman attacks him, demanding to know why he wears the House of El symbol, but Val reports why is Superman. He says he knew his mother and if she could see him, she would be appalled.

After the Boom Tube is closed and the defeat of Bedlam, Superman and Val are still fighting. He asks how he is stronger. He crunches his arm and it does grey and cracks. When Val questions what is wrong, Superman pulls back and asks whta he had done to her. He attacks Val again, repeating the question. Val takes his hands and headbutts him. Val tells him he is making it worse as he is falling apart. Red Tornado blows  the rest of the old skin away to reveal a being with an inverted House of El badge on his chest. He begins to speak, but all he can say is "me... am" and Red Tornado states that it is not Superman, but he thinks he is. He tries to beg that he is Superman to Lois, but he calls him a "sick perversion" and blasts him into the dust stating the world is too dark and dangerous for him to be in it.

This page only shows Earth 2 #16 and Earth 2 #26. This will be updated at a later date to feature all his crimes and horrors he commites.

On the bullet train, Sam happily tells him about the place and how they have booked a private wing to themselves and Alan replies that he would love anywhere that is with him, apologising again for "sappy" talk. In Justice League #5: Superman, Batman and members of Metropolis that were abducted by the Parademons and taken to the tower. However due to the fact that the tower did not have the proper tools to deal with Superman's physiology, he was sent to Apokolips.

In Justice League #6:The towers exploded along with the Boom Tubes, taking out any Parademons that were on Earth and stopping any more plans from Apokolips for the time.

In Earth 2 #1these towers were erected very much in the same mannour as Prime Earth. Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman chose Metropolis as the end battle so that Batman could get access to one of these towers and shut it down. A second tower in the Huon Peninsula was being targeted with nuclear weapons by American soldiers, which was meant to be used if the Metropolis mission failed.

Numerous towers had been destroyed over the course of the war, which resulted in the transmition being sent to another tower and the erection of more towers before they could stop them. Batman used this information to develope a virus that would bring down the towers and will be passed on with the transmition and stop the Parademons.

Batman scales the tower in Metropolis, where he uploads the virus into the central control. The virus was successful in shutting down the tower, however a fail safe was triggered, causing the towers to explode (killing Batman) and stopping the Parademons, making them drop out of the sky.

The remnants of the towers, large smoking craters known locally as "Fire Pits" were the reminder of everything that was lost and gained during the war.

Batman invented a virus that would shut these towers down and destroy the Parademons, choosing the Metropolis tower as the starting place. The virus would then pass onto each tower, utilising a programme used for Apokolips' advantage.

Batman scales the tower on the last day of the Apokolips war and uploads the virus, passing it on and shutting down the Parademons. However the tower exploded due to fail safe mechanism, killing Batman in the process.

But he tells her he wants to have her there so that if they fail, the towers will be destroyed by the nuclear missiles, but preferably wanting to keep them "cold."

Sensing Superman's death, Supergirl leaves the Huon Peninsula, Papua New Guinea and speeds to Metropolis, leaving the soldiers to fend off Parademons.

She arrives in Metropolis seconds after the destruction of the command tower and Robin tearfully updates her on the deaths of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. When Batman reaches the central control of the tower, he tells her to get away. She tries to argue saying that she needs to pick him up, but Batman reveals the full extent of his plan, that once the virus has been uploaded the tower will activate a failsafe that will blow up the entire tower. She asks him not to do it, but he tells her that he has no choice and calling her his "brave, wonderful soldier" tasks her to live for him. With a final "I love you" Batman uploads the virus and finishes the Parademons.

Desaad tells Steppenwolf that Darkseid won't stop until he finds his daughter, and Steppenwolf shouts to "all hail Darkseid," which Desaad does not join in on as he is too busy using his powers to torture Superman.

When Cyborg activates all of the Mother Boxes on Earth, he remotely activates both Desaad's and Steppenwolf's . Desaad panics as a Boom Tube opens and transports him away from Apokolips, with no other way of returning to his own home.

He tells her they will even if “great Jupiter himself yet may perish, we have resolve.” She questions why he is there and asks for the message, telling him that she cannot leave Metropolis to stand by the gods as she must distract the Parademons from Batman. Mercury says that he knows and that his message was one of thanks to her. For along time, mankind did not believe in the gods, but due to her faith in mankind he believes in the power of man and what they can do. Wonder Woman tells him that he is being cryptic “as always.” But he replies that he is a messenger and nothing more and that there are “no rule those bulletins be of easy ken.” He speeds away to rejoin the battle with the gods.

He also tells Jay that the effort it took to escape will kill him eventually, but his senses are now as free as he is. He says that he is a dying god and the job to fight it requires living heroes. Jay reveals that there are no more heroes after the deaths of Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman even if they do have the World Army. But Mercury says the new age should begin and that the man he sees before him is a worthy, brave human who has the potential to become a hero. Jay tries to tell him he has no future, but Mercury says e thanked the fates that they Jay had run to his side in his final moments. Jay continues to try and persuade Mercury to let him take him to a hospital and find “the right man”, but Mercury continues and says he believes in him. He points at Jay, saying to him that “You claim to lack a future? Let me give you one.” He blasts Jay with a bolt of energy as his skin goes grey and starts to crumble. He reveals that his powers would have waned and before he dies he would give a final gift to help the world, giving Jay the “Speed of a god.” He asks Jay to use his powers well and to “use my power and your own gallant heart to honour me and save the world.” He begs Mercury about not being worthy, but he tells him that he is.

A world Army helicopter arrives and tries to capture Jay. Mercury says it's too late to save him and advises Jay to “until you sure of everyone, distrust everyone” as the evil force that had captured him can take any form. Jay asks what he should do and Mercury tells him to run.
