David Shannon (Batman Arkham Origins)

First Appearance: Batman Arkham Origins

David Shannon was an engineer and technician, who worked for Gotham  Optics. He died on Christmas Eve in the Coventry G.C.R Tower, while on a call out to fix it.

Shannon was sent out by the company to fix a faulty network in the Coventry Tower on Christmas Eve. When he swiped his access card to gain access to the main tower, he triggered a booby trap set up by John F. Baker (on orders of Enigma.) The key card scanner explodes, sending him flying across the room and hitting the wall, killing him with the impact.

Batman discovers his body when he finds the tower is throwing out a jamming signal that is interfering with the Batwing, while flying for Penguin's Bowery arm deal. He uses the access card to be able to take control of the access panels and identified the murderer being Baker (who was found dead by G.C.P.D an hour earlier in the Diamond District.) He tells Alfred to contact the G.C.P.D to investigate the body and crime.
